The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) within the Office of Justice Programs at the U.S. Department of Justice announced its Family Treatment Court Program for FY 2024. The grant program seeks to build the capacity of state courts, local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Tribal governments to establish new family treatment courts, enhance existing family treatment courts, or expand family treatment courts at the larger state and county levels.

Applicants are required to complete a two-step submission process; more information can be found on page 6 of the Notice of Funding Opportunity.

Category 2: Enhancing Family Treatment Courts

  • Award amount: $850,000 each
  • Award period: 48 months

Category 3: Statewide or Countywide Family Treatment Court Expansion

  • Award amount: $1,500,000 each
  • Award period: 48 months
