Motivational Interviewing Toolkit for Veterans Treatment Courts

All Rise’s Justice for Vets is proud to announce the brand-new “Motivational Interviewing Toolkit for Veterans Treatment Courts.” This free toolkit translates the foundational components of Motivational Interviewing (MI) into the veterans treatment court setting and is applicable to everyone working on a veterans treatment court team. It’s divided into two parts: a toolkit and a portable, quick-reference bench card.

Toolkit

The toolkit demonstrates how MI can be applied in veterans treatment court using dialogue, examples, and veteran-centric case studies. The toolkit is divided into four sections describing the spirit, skills, strategies, and change-planning components necessary to adopt MI in your program.

Bench Card

The complementary bench card contains tips and prompts for using the core skills, strategies, and change planning in staffing, court sessions, and meetings with veterans treatment court participants and families.

A limited number of printed copies will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the All Rise booth at RISE24. Be sure to stop by to get yours!
