The U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) announced its Veterans Treatment Court Program for FY 2024. The grant program provides financial and technical assistance to states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribal governments to plan, implement, and enhance the operations of veterans treatment courts (VTCs), including service coordination, participant service and supervision coordination, fidelity to the VTC model, and recovery support services.

Applicants are required to complete a two-step submission process; more information can be found on page 5 of the Notice of Funding Opportunity.

• Category 2: Enhancement Grants
  • Award amount: $1,000,000 each
  • Award period: 48 months
• Category 3: Statewide Grants
  • Award amount: $2,500,000 each
  • Award period: 48 months
