September is National Recovery Month

All Rise is proud to partner with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to promote National Recovery Month. We know that every year, thousands of people enter long-term recovery thanks to effective treatment courts and other evidence-based justice innovations across the country. September is the perfect time to share your community’s recovery success stories and highlight the positive impact recovery has on every life it touches.

2025 Recovery Month Toolkit

SAMHSA has developed a robust toolkit to help you plan and promote recovery all September long. Recovery Month will center on weekly themes:

  • Week 1: Health – Recovery includes whole health.
  • Week 2: Home – Recovery is strengthened in a safe and supportive home.
  • Week 3: Community – Building social networks and a sense of community can support recovery.
  • Week 4: Purpose – A sense of meaning can bolster recovery efforts.
