This webinar focuses on the role of trauma and negative life events concerning the use of intimate partner violence and the risk of gun violence. It provides an overview of important models for understanding violence and its impacts, as well as an exploration of factors that can increase the risk of violence. In particular, it provides an overview of the evidence-based Strength at Home program, an intervention that uses a trauma-informed approach to work with people who use violence.
