Active Projects
Rapid Screening, Assessment, and Referral to Services
We work with justice systems build the capacity to rapidly screen, assess, and refer individuals with substance use and mental health disorders to appropriate, evidence-based interventions.
Reducing Childhood Trauma and Supporting Parents
We help justice system actors support the needs of children impacted by parental justice involvement, assist parents in building parenting skills, and strengthen family relationships.
Crisis Response
We partner with service providers and justice system professionals to strengthen local crisis response coordination for justice-involved individuals.
Judiciary Training on Substance Use
We train state court judges and other justice system professionals to apply evidence-based practices for serving individuals with substance use disorder at every stage of the justice system.
Overdose Prevention
We work with law enforcement, pretrial services agencies, courts, jails, and other stakeholders take steps to identify individuals at risk of overdose and employ evidence-based strategies to prevent overdoses among those in their care.
Juvenile Treatment Courts
We offer comprehensive training and technical assistance to juvenile treatment courts, including implementation of research-based best practices and assisting courts in building recovery capital and supports for youth and families.
