This toolkit from All Rise’s Justice for Vets, which can be used in conjunction with the Motivational Interviewing Bench Card, translates the foundational components of Motivational Interviewing (MI) into the veterans treatment court (VTC) setting. The toolkit is applicable to everyone working on a VTC team and demonstrates how its concepts can be applied in veterans treatment court using dialogue, examples, and veteran-centric case studies. The toolkit is divided into four sections describing the spirit, skills, strategies, and change-planning components necessary to adopt MI in your program.
