Impaired Driving Prevention Month
December is a critical time for treatment courts to engage and educate your community about how these programs are changing the way the justice system identifies, assesses, and treats repeat impaired drivers. Many treatment court types serve individuals with impaired-driving offenses, including adult drug courts, veterans treatment courts, and others. For this reason, all treatment courts can and should participate in Impaired Driving Prevention Month and should engage the public, the media, and elected officials on the importance of keeping our roadways safe.
